Washington Redskins at Minnesota Vikings

  • Spread Odds: Minnesota Vikings -15.5
  • Total: 42.0

Minnesota has found its offense again, as the Vikings have scored 80 combined points in their last two weeks. The Vikings are averaging 160.0 rushing yards per game, and they can pass it as well.

Washington has just one win on the season, and that was against the Miami Dolphins. The Redskins are getting outscored by 13 points per game, and this one won’t even be that close.

Bet the Vikings -15.5 on Thursday Night Football.

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

  • Spread Odds: Seattle Seahawks -4.0
  • Total: 53.5

The Seahawks are coming off a tough home loss to the Baltimore Ravens, while the Falcons have dropped five straight. Atlanta’s hope for an end to the losing streak won’t be helped by Matt Ryan’s ankle injury that could keep him out of this contest.

Seattle is getting an MVP-caliber season out of Russell Wilson, who has thrown for 1,945 yards with 15 touchdowns and just one interception. He should feast on the Falcons’ porous defense.

Taking the Seahawks -4.0 is the correct pick in this one.

Denver Broncos at Indianapolis Colts

  • Spread Odds: Indianapolis Colts -6.0
  • Total: 44.0

No Andrew Luck, no problem for the Colts. Indianapolis has gotten off to a 4-2 start this season, including impressive wins over the Chiefs and Texans.

The Broncos simply can’t find any offense and are averaging just 16.0 points per game. Denver has a solid defense, but it won’t matter in this one.

Take the Colts -6.0 as they will roll over Denver in this game.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams

  • Spread Odds: Los Angeles Rams -13.0
  • Total: 48.5

The Los Angeles Rams have been a huge disappointment this season, but they are still 4-3. Cincinnati has yet to win a game this season, and it has been getting blown out a lot.

There are a few games that could get out of hand in Week 8, but this game will be a blowout from the get-go. The Bengals just aren’t very competitive, and the Rams will have a huge day in this one.

Bet the Los Angeles Rams -13.0 over the Cincinnati Bengals in this game.

Philadelphia Eagles at Buffalo Bills

  • Spread Odds: Buffalo Bills -1.5
  • Total: 43.0

The Bills are the biggest surprise in the NFL this season, even though they are averaging just 20 points per game. Buffalo put up 31 points against the Dolphins in Week 7, but its defense has been leading this team.

The Eagles are a mystery at this point in the season, and they have fallen to just 3-4. Philadelphia scored just 10 points in a Week 7 loss, and this will be another tough task.

Bet the Buffalo Bills -1.5 over the Philadelphia Eagles in this game.

Los Angeles Chargers at Chicago Bears

  • Spread Odds: Chicago Bears -4.0
  • Total: 40.0

The Chargers and Bears were both playoff teams a season ago, but they have really struggled in 2019. This is a great opportunity for each team to pick up a much-needed win, but this could be a sloppy affair.

Chicago has a huge mess at the quarterback position, and it ran the ball just seven times a week ago. The Chargers can’t trust their defense, and their offense hasn’t been good enough to bail them out.

Go ahead and bet the Bears -4.0 in this game, simply because they are playing at home.

Arizona Cardinals at New Orleans Saints

  • Spread Odds: New Orleans Saints -9.5
  • Total: 48.0

Teddy Bridgewater is a perfect 5-0 as a starting quarterback, and the Saints tore apart the Chicago Bears a week ago. New Orleans looks like a Super Bowl contender this season and is super talented.

Arizona has now won three straight games, and it looks like Kyler Murray is the answer at QB. The Cardinals can score some points, but this is a tough challenge. Arizona is getting better, but it isn’t winning this game.

Take New Orleans -9.5 to win this easily.

New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Spread Odds: Jacksonville Jaguars -6.0
  • Total: 41.5

The Jets were shut out by the Patriots on Monday Night Football, and it was a miserable night for quarterback Sam Darnold. Darnold threw four interceptions, and the Jets defense didn’t stand a chance against the Pats.

Jacksonville has found a potential superstar in Gardner Minshew, as the young QB is getting the job done. The Jaguars still have some issues on defense, but they are a solid team.

Bet the Jaguars -6.0 over the Jets on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Tennessee Titans

  • Spread Odds: Tennessee Titans -2.5
  • Total: 46.5

The Titans have been a tough team to figure out, and their lack of offense has really hurt this team. Tennessee found a way to score 23 points in Week 7, and they should have an easy time of it against the Bucs.

Tampa Bay can score points, but its defense has been a wreck. The Buccaneers will try to win this game with their offense, but that is easier said than done.

Bet the Titans -2.5 over the Buccaneers in this game.

New York Giants at Detroit Lions

  • Spread Odds: Detroit Lions -7.0
  • Total: 49.5

The Detroit Lions are just 2-3-1 this season, but they have played like a much better team. Quarterback Matthew Stafford is having a monster season, and they will light up the Giants defense in this game.

Daniel Jones has been impressive for the Giants, and getting Saquon Barkley back will help out a ton. New York will be able to hang with the Lions in this game, but they can’t get the win.

Take the +7.0 points and bet the New York Giants in this one.

Carolina Panthers at San Francisco 49ers

  • Spread Odds: San Francisco 49ers -5.5
  • Total: 41.5

San Francisco just continues to amaze, and last week it was its defense. The 49ers shut out the Washington Redskins in Week 7, and are a perfect 6-0 this season.

Carolina has played well with Kyle Allen in at quarterback, but the Panthers still have some room to improve. The 49ers will lose some games this season, but it won’t be this one.

Bet the 49ers -5.5 over the Panthers in Week 8.

Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans

  • Spread Odds: Houston Texans -6.5
  • Total: 51.0

The Oakland Raiders are giving up 28 points per game, and they got torched by the Packers a week ago. Oakland gave up 42 points, and they struggle to defend the pass.

Houston has a terrific offense, but it has been inconsistent this season. The Texans should be tough at home in this game, but this one won’t be easy.

Take the +6.5 points and look for the Raiders to keep this game close.

Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots

  • Spread Odds: New England Patriots -13.0
  • Total: 46.0

The Patriots defense has been legendary this season, and they are giving up less than 7.0 points per game. New England also just made a trade for Mohamed Sanu, and their offense should be close to unstoppable.

Cleveland has now lost two straight games, and this team is a mess. The Browns haven’t been able to score, and their defense is bad as well.

This will be another blowout win for the defending champions.

Green Bay Packers at Kansas City Chiefs

  • Spread Odds: Green Bay Packers -4.5
  • Total: 48.0

Patrick Mahomes will not be suiting up for the Chiefs in this game, and that is a huge blow. The Chiefs are still 5-2 on the season, but they are going to struggle without their star QB.

Aaron Rodgers had a perfect passer rating in the Packers’ Week 7 win, and Green Bay finally has a defense as well. Winning on the road in Kansas City is never easy, but the Packers will get it done.

Bet the Green Bay Packers -4.5 over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Spread Odds: Pittsburgh Steelers -14.5
  • Total: 42.5

It’s very rare to see a 2-4 team as a 14.5-point favorite, but that’s exactly what the Steelers are this week. The Miami Dolphins are one of two winless teams remaining, and they have plenty of issues.

Mason Rudolph will resume as the starting quarterback in this game, and he was playing well for Pittsburgh. The Steelers defense should be solid in this game as well.

The Dolphins just simply aren’t very good, and this game won’t be close on Monday night. Taking Pittsburgh is the correct choice in this one.
