Houston Texans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Spread Odds: Houston Texans -3.0
  • Total: 50.5

This game has the potential to be the highest-scoring game of the entire weekend. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the best passing attack in the NFL, but their defense gives up points as quick as they score them.

Houston is led by quarterback Deshaun Watson, but the Texans have allowed him to be sacked 39 times this season. The Texans will have to get some sacks of their own to win this game. They will, and they win.

Take the Texans -3.0 over the Bucs.

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots

  • Spread Odds: New England Patriots -6.0
  • Total: 39.5

The Bills can actually win the AFC East this season, but they must win this game. Buffalo can really defend, and its defense should keep this game close.

New England has a history of playing great football in December, and it is always tough to beat at Foxborough. Quarterback Tom Brady has not been his normal self this season, but the Patriots are allowing just 12.0 points per game.

Take the Pats -6.0 in this game as they pull away late.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers

  • Spread Odds: San Francisco 49ers -6.0
  • Total: 45.0

The San Francisco 49ers want to run the ball, and the Los Angeles Rams have a vaunted passing attack. San Francisco has the better defense, but Los Angeles has improved on that side of the ball.

This game would likely be close if it was played on a neutral field, but the Niners are just too tough at home. San Francisco is going to run its way to victory as it shuts down the Rams’ passing attack.

Bet the 49ers -6.0 in this game.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Atlanta Falcons

  • Spread Odds: Atlanta Falcons -7.5
  • Total: 45.5

The Atlanta Falcons have been a mystery this season, but they can beat anyone when they are playing well. The Falcons just beat the 49ers in Week 15 and should have momentum in this game.

Jacksonville can score as well, but its defense has let it down of late. Expect plenty of points in this game, but the Falcons roll.

Take the Falcons -7.5 over the Jaguars.

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns

  • Spread Odds: Baltimore Ravens -10.0
  • Total: 48.0

The Baltimore Ravens are an unstoppable force, and they just keep getting better. Baltimore has run for over 200 yards per game, and it can defend as well.

Cleveland appears to have given up on the season, and it was another rough one for the Browns. Quarterback Baker Mayfield will need to improve a ton to turn this around in 2020.

This one won’t be close, and Baltimore -10.0 is the pick.

New Orleans Saints at Tennessee Titans

  • Spread Odds: New Orleans Saints -1.5
  • Total: 51.5

Drew Brees just smashed another record, and the Saints are flying high. New Orleans looks like a Super Bowl favorite this season, but playing on the road is never easy for the Saints.

Tennessee needs this game if it is going to make the playoffs. The Titans have been a high-scoring team of late, but they can’t keep up with the Saints.

The Titans keep it close, but the Saints win by a touchdown.

Carolina Panthers at Indianapolis Colts

  • Spread Odds: Indianapolis Colts -6.5
  • Total: 46.5

The Colts just got blown out by the Saints on Monday Night Football, and their season has slipped away. Injuries have hurt this Colts team, but its defense has struggled as well.

Carolina has some issues of its own, but it has a superstar in running back Christian McCaffery, who should see plenty of touches and will keep this game close throughout.

Take the +6.5 points and pick the Panthers.

Cincinnati Bengals at Miami Dolphins

  • Spread Odds: Miami Dolphins -1.0
  • Total: 46.5

This is your classic battle of two terrible teams with nothing to play for. Someone has to win this weekend, and it should be a close game.

Cincinnati just doesn’t score any points, and its quarterback play is a mess. Miami can score, but getting stops is a problem.

Home-field advantage plays in a role in this game as the Dolphins -1.0 win.

Pittsburgh Steelers at New York Jets

  • Spread Odds: Pittsburgh Steelers -3.0
  • Total: 39.5

The Pittsburgh Steelers can still reach the playoffs, but they have to win this game. Pittsburgh has really struggled to score of late, but its defense has kept it in it.

New York has been a different team of late, but it still needs a running game. Quarterback Sam Darnold has been sharp, but the Steelers will come after him.

This one will be close, but betting the Steelers -3.0 is the right pick.

New York Giants at Washington Redskins

  • Spread Odds: Washington Redskins -2.5
  • Total: 42.5

The Washington Redskins have not been good this season, but they almost upset the Eagles in Week 15. Rookie Dwayne Haskins has been playing better of late but still turns it over too much.

New York has plenty of issues itself, but it has some nice pieces. Running back Saquon Barkley should have a big game, and the Giants will get a nice road win.

Bet the Giants +2.5 to win this game outright.

Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos

  • Spread Odds: Denver Broncos -6.5
  • Total: 38.0

Detroit continues playing with a third-string quarterback, and it’s hurt its offense. The Lions don’t have a defense to speak of, and Detroit can’t outscore opponents any longer.

Denver has a terrific defense, but its offense has struggled at times. The Broncos are a much better team at home, and they should dominate this game.

Bet the Broncos -6.5 to beat the Lions in this one.

Oakland Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers

  • Spread Odds: Los Angeles Chargers -5.5
  • Total: 45.5

The Chargers and Raiders have had interesting seasons, but both will be watching the playoffs from home. Los Angeles will be wanting to throw the ball, while Oakland is going to run it.

Defense and pride will matter in this game, and that is where Oakland has an edge. The Raiders are playing for 2020, and the Chargers are just done.

Take the +5 5 points and pick the Raiders in this game.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

  • Spread Odds: Dallas Cowboys -2.5
  • Total: 46.5

The NFC East is up for grabs, and this game will decide it. Dallas has an extremely potent offense, and the Eagles are banged up.

Playing at home should give the Eagles an edge, but they just aren’t worthy of the pick. Dallas has a much better roster, and its offense has been clicking of late.

Take the Cowboys -2.5 to beat the Eagles in Philadelphia.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

  • Spread Odds: Seattle Seahawks -9.0
  • Total: 50.0

This game should not be close, but Arizona does present some issues. The Cardinals have an improving QB in Kyler Murray, but their defense just hasn’t shown up.

Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson has been tremendous this season, and he is a true dual threat. The Seahawks can also defend, and they don’t lose at home.

Bet the Seahawks -9.0 over the Cardinals in this game.

Kansas City Chiefs at Chicago Bears

  • Spread Odds: Kansas City Chiefs -5.0
  • Total: 45.0

Matt Nagy’s Bears offense has been better of late, but it has been a bad year for the Bears. Chicago is still one of the best defenses in the league, but this will be a challenge.

Kansas City is back to being a top-five offense, and Patrick Mahomes looks healthy again. The Chiefs have no shortage of playmakers, and they roll in this game.

Bet the Chiefs -5.0 to beat the Bears on Sunday night.

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings

  • Spread Odds: Minnesota Vikings -4.5
  • Total: 45.5

NFC North rivals collide for the division title on Monday night. Minnesota will be at home, and its defense has been dominant of late. Quarterback Kirk Cousins has also been sharp, and the Vikings can run it.

Green Bay has a stout defense as well, but it’s a little banged up. The Packers will need to outscore the Vikings to win, and that simply won’t happen.

Bet the Vikings -4.5 to beat the Packers on MNF.
