Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans
- Point Spread: Houston Texans -3.5
- Total: 45.5
First place in the AFC South will be on the line Thursday night when the Texans host the Colts. This division has been hard to figure out all season, and none of the teams look to be dominant.
Houston has not been a great defensive team this season, and injuries have played a role. QB Deshaun Watson has been solid, but he gets hit a ton.
Indianapolis is dealing with injuries as well, and it’s affecting their offense. The Colts will likely struggle to score in this game.
Take the home team in this rivalry, which is the Texans -3.5.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons
- Point Spread: Atlanta Falcons -4.5
- Total: 51.5
All of a sudden, the Atlanta Falcons look unstoppable. Atlanta has won two straight games and has done so in blowout fashion.
Tampa Bay has just one win in its last six tries, and its defense has really let it down. The Bucs are getting solid play from Jameis Winston, but that’s about it.
Atlanta is rolling, and it is the pick at -4.5 in this game.
Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills
- Point Spread: Buffalo Bills -4.0
- Total: 37.0
Two terrific defenses will meet up in Buffalo, and points will be at a premium. Buffalo is one of the most underrated teams in the NFL, and it just keeps on winning.
Denver has been playing well of late, but it continues to blow leads in the fourth quarter. The Broncos can’t score, and that will be a problem against the Bills.
Bet on Buffalo -4.0 at home in this game.
New York Giants at Chicago Bears
- Point Spread: Chicago Bears -6.5
- Total: 40.5
This is a battle of two storied franchises that are both battling through miserable seasons. The point total is set at 40.5 in this game, but it’s hard to imagine either team getting to 20 points.
Chicago has a mess at quarterback with Mitchell Trubisky, and its defense appears to have given up. New York can run the ball, but rookie QB Daniel Jones is a turnover machine.
Take the 6.5 points and bet the Giants in this game, although the Bears should win it.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
- Point Spread: Pittsburgh Steelers -6.5
- Total: 39.0
The Cincinnati Bengals have yet to win a game this season, and they haven’t really even been close. They will try to end that streak on Sunday, but this one won’t be easy.
Pittsburgh has been playing solid football since a miserable start, and it is a big favorite in this game. The Steelers are getting solid production from QB Mason Rudolph, and their defense has turned the corner.
Bet the Pittsburgh Steelers -6.5 in this one.
Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns
- Point Spread: Cleveland Browns -10.5
- Total: 44.0
The Miami Dolphins are actually winning football games of late, but they are massive underdogs in this game. Cleveland has a talented roster, but they have yet to put it all together.
The Browns do have a great defense this season, and that should give them the victory in this game. Cleveland just doesn’t score enough to win this game by a blowout.
Take the +10.5 points and pick the Dolphins in this game.
Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
- Point Spread: New Orleans -9.5
- Total: 47.0
The Saints have the ability to score points in a hurry, but for some reason, that hasn’t always been the case. They are huge 9.5-point favorites this weekend but will be taking on a tough defense in this game.
Carolina has a superstar in running back Christian McCaffrey, but it doesn’t always get him the ball. The Panthers have some major flaws, but they will keep this one close.
Bet the New Orleans Saints -9.5 over the Panthers in this game.
Oakland Raiders at New York Jets
- Point Spread: Oakland Raiders -3.0
- Total: 45.5
The Jets have played better of late, but this is still a team with a ton of question marks. New York’s defense has been a mess, and it is facing a good offense in this game.
Oakland runs the ball like crazy, and QB Derek Carr has thrown it well. The Raiders still have some questions on defense, but their offense will bail them out in this game.
Take the Raiders at -3.0 in this one.
Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles
- Point Spread: Philadelphia Eagles -2.0
- Total: 48.0
Seattle is coming off an impressive win over the San Francisco 49ers. Quarterback Russell Wilson has been a star all season, and the Seahawks can defend as well.
Philadelphia got shut down by the Patriots a week ago, and it can’t find consistency on offense. The Eagles also have an injured defense, and that’s going to hurt them in this game.
Take the Seahawks +2.0 on the road in this game.
Detroit Lions at Washington Redskins
- Point Spread: Detroit Lions -3.0
- Total: 42.5
The Washington Redskins are an absolute mess, and there doesn’t look to be any solutions in sight. Washington doesn’t have an answer at quarterback, and its defense has been leaky all season long.
Detroit could be getting Matthew Stafford back in this game, but its offense has been fine without him. The Lions have not been winning games but have played pretty well.
The Lions are winning this game by a large margin.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
- Point Spread: Tennessee Titans -3.0
- Total: 41.5
There might not be a ton of points scored in this game as both the Jaguars and Titans have struggled to find offense. Tennessee has been better since benching Marcus Mariota, but it still needs more offense.
Jacksonville will have Nick Foles under center in this game, but it needs Leonard Fournette to get going. The Jaguars have been bad on the road this season, and that will play a role in this game.
Tennessee at -3.0 is the right pick in this game.
Dallas Cowboys at New England Patriots
- Point Spread: New England Patriots -6.0
- Total: 45.5
There is a chance that this game could be a Super Bowl preview, but one of these teams has a ton of work to do. Dallas comes into this game in first place in the NFC East, but it has some issues. New England has just one loss this season, and it is controlling the AFC.
The Patriots are giving up just 10.0 points per game this season, but they need Tom Brady to be better this season. Dallas has one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, but its defense has let it down at times. Look for there to be plenty of points in this game.
Bet the New England Patriots -6.0 over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.
Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers
- Point Spread: San Francisco 49ers -2.5
- Total: 46.0
Sunday Night Football should be the best game of the entire weekend. The Packers will be looking to throw the ball, while the San Francisco 49ers are the second-best rushing team in the league.
San Francisco suffered its first loss just two weeks ago but bounced back with a solid Week 11 win. Green Bay had a bye in Week 11 and should be recharged for this game.
It’s going to be tight throughout, but take the 49ers -2.5 at home on Sunday night.
Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Rams
- Point Spread: Baltimore Ravens -3.0
- Total: 46.5
The Baltimore Ravens continue to put up a ton of points on offense, and they do most of their damage on the ground. Quarterback Lamar Jackson might be the league’s MVP this season, and the Ravens’ defense is legit.
Los Angeles beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday night, but it left a lot to be desired. The Rams scored just 17 points in that game, and they are dealing with a ton of injuries.
Take the Baltimore Ravens -3.0 over the Rams on Monday Night Football.
