After a wild and crazy Week 10 in the National Football League, it is time to start thinking about Week 11. There are no more undefeated teams remaining in the league, and the playoff races are heating up in both conferences. With four teams having a bye this week, there are just 14 games on the schedule. Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
- Spread Odds: Browns -3.0
- Total: 40.0
Thursday Night Football will feature a pair of AFC North rivals that really don’t like each other. The Steelers and Browns are both trying to chase down the Baltimore Ravens in the division race, and they each have plenty of work to do.
Browns QB Baker Mayfield has thrown 11 interceptions this season and is completing less than 60 percent of his passes. Pittsburgh’s defense has been dominant of late, and linebacker TJ Watt is a sack machine.
Look for the visiting Steelers at +3.0 to win this game outright over the Cleveland Browns.
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Spread Odds: New Orleans Saints -6.0
- Total: 50.0
Drew Brees and the Saints were stunned in Week 10 in a blowout loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The loss snapped a six-game winning streak, but New Orleans is still atop the NFC South standings.
Tampa Bay doesn’t have much of a defense this season, but it has been scoring points. Quarterback Jameis Winston has found his groove, and the Bucs will try to outscore the Saints.
The Saints are too explosive, and they will bounce back with a blowout win.
Dallas Cowboys at Detroit Lions
- Spread Odds: Dallas Cowboys -4.5
- Total: 49.5
The Dallas Cowboys just can’t find any consistency, despite being loaded with talent. Dallas got a monster game from Dak Prescott in Week 10 but still suffered a defeat.
Detroit will likely be without quarterback Matthew Stafford in this game, and that just kills their offense. The Lions got off to a strong start, but they are fading fast.
Dallas is going to cover the 4.5-point spread with or without Stafford playing in this game.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts
- Spread Odds: Indianapolis Colts -3.0
- Total: 44.0
Nick Foles is back for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he will resume as the starting QB. The Jaguars will likely feed running back Leonard Fournette a ton, as Jacksonville averages 130 rushing yards per game.
Injuries are starting to pile up for the Colts, especially on offense. Indianapolis scored just 12 points a week ago, and its defense can’t win games on its own.
This is a tough game, but take the Jaguars +3.0 in the return of Foles.
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
- Spread Odds: Buffalo Bills -5.5
- Total: 40.0
The Miami Dolphins are suddenly red hot, but they are costing themselves draft positioning. Miami still has a long ways to go, but at least it is putting up a fight now.
Buffalo continues to surprise teams in the NFL, and it just finds a way to get it done. The Bills have a terrific defense, and quarterback Josh Allen makes just enough plays to win games.
Take the Bills -5.5 on the road in Miami over the Dolphins.
Denver Broncos at Minnesota Vikings
- Spread Odds: Minnesota Vikings -10.5
- Total: 39.5
Minnesota has been extremely impressive since Week 3, and it looks like a playoff contender. The Vikings can score with the best of them, and their defense has been terrific as well.
The Broncos have also been playing better of late, but they just don’t have an offense. Denver will put up a good fight for a while, but it doesn’t have the talent to keep this game close.
Take the Vikings -10.5 over the Broncos in this matchup.
New York Jets at Washington Redskins
- Spread Odds: Washington Redskins -1.5
- Total: 38.5
Two of the worst teams in the NFL are squaring off in this game. Washington is a slight 1.5-point favorite despite having just one win on the season. The Jets just beat the Giants in Week 10.
There will be two young quarterbacks on the field in this game, and turnovers will definitely play a role. The Jets seem to have the better defense in this matchup, and that should be enough to get them the win.
Take the Jets +1.5 on the road in Washington.
Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers
- Spread Odds: Carolina Panthers -5.5
- Total: 50.5
Can the Falcons stay hot after destroying the New Orleans Saints a week ago? Can the Panthers bounce back after a close loss to the Green Bay Packers?
This game will be extremely interesting, and there is a real chance that the Falcons could win this game. Atlanta can score, and the Panthers don’t always have the best defense. Carolina should hold off the Falcons, but it’s going to be tight.
Take the 5.5 points and the Atlanta Falcons in this game.
Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens
- Spread Odds: Baltimore Ravens -4.0
- Total: 49.5
Two of the top young quarterbacks in the NFL are set to square off in this game. The Ravens are the top rushing team in the NFL, and they just dominated the Patriots two weeks ago.
Houston has been up and down this season, but its offense is lethal as well. The Texans have struggled a bit on defense, and injuries have played a huge role.
Look for the Ravens’ offense to carry them again in this game. Take Baltimore at -4.0 over Houston.
Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers
- Spread Odds: San Francisco 49ers -13.0
- Total: 45.5
The 49ers lost their first game of the season in Week 10, but it took an overtime period to knock them off. San Francisco has been amazing on defense this season, and they can run it.
Arizona is still a few years away from really being competitive, and rookie quarterback Kyler Murray will struggle in this one. The Cardinals will not be able to keep this game close.
Take the first-place San Francisco 49ers -13.0 over Arizona in this game.
Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders
- Spread Odds: Oakland Raiders -10.0
- Total: 49.5
It’s pretty clear to see that the Cincinnati Bengals are in complete tank mode. The Bengals are the last winless team remaining in the league, and they don’t do anything very well.
Oakland has a real shot to win the AFC West this season, and its running game has been terrific. Rookie Josh Jacobs is a touchdown machine, and the Raiders are finding just enough defense.
This game won’t be close. Take the Raiders -10.0.
New England Patriots at Philadelphia Eagles
- Spread Odds: New England Patriots -3.5
- Total: 44.5
The last two Super Bowl Champions will meet up on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia. New England is a title contender again this season, but the Eagles still have work to do.
The Patriots have the best defense in the NFL, but they couldn’t stop the Ravens in Week 9. Philadelphia is still waiting for quarterback Carson Wentz to take the next step.
New England is always tough coming off of a bye, and taking them at -3.5 is the right play.
Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams
- Spread Odds: Los Angeles Rams -7.0
- Total: 41.0
The Bears and Rams thought they would be in the NFC Championship Game this season, but they might not even make the playoffs. Chicago has a very disappointing offense, and Los Angeles couldn’t get any stops to begin the season.
Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky threw three touchdowns in Week 10, but he does not throw the ball deep. The Rams can’t get running back Todd Gurley going, and there is too much pressure on Jared Goff.
This game will be close, and taking the Bears at +7.0 is the right play.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers
- Spread Odds: Kansas City Chiefs -3.5
- Total: 52.5
The Chiefs and Chargers are set to meet up in Mexico City on Monday Night Football. This game will likely be the highest-scoring game of the weekend, as both teams have terrific quarterbacks. The AFC West is wide open, and this game has real significance.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was back in Week 10, but the defense really let this team down. Los Angeles has found some defense this season, but quarterback Philip Rivers turned the ball over a ton in a Week 10 loss.
The Chiefs are better, and taking them at -3.5 is the right pick.
